Festival 2027 is excited to welcome dancers to Nanoose Place Community Centre, a wonderful community venue located in the heart of beautiful Nanoose Bay on Vancouver Island.
Surrounded by the natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere of the island, Nanoose Place provides a comfortable and welcoming setting for a weekend of round dancing, learning, and friendship. The spacious facilities offer an ideal environment for dancing, socializing, and creating memories with fellow dancers from near and far.
Beyond the dance floor, Nanoose Place reflects the warmth and hospitality of the local community. It is a place where people come together, share experiences, and enjoy the connections that make our dance community so special.
Located between Nanaimo and Parksville, Nanoose Bay is the perfect destination for Festival 2027. Enjoy great dancing during the weekend, and take time to explore nearby beaches, parks, shops, restaurants, and the many attractions that make Vancouver Island such a special place to visit.

A Little bit of History of our Venue
Nanoose Place officially opened in June 1992, thanks to the leadership and vision of the Nanoose Bay Lions, along with the support of the community and the Regional District of Nanaimo. Local residents contributed through fundraising, grants, and donations to help create a gathering place that would serve generations to come.
Today, Nanoose Place continues to be a vibrant hub where people come together to learn, connect, create, and celebrate. Operated by the Nanoose Bay Activities & Recreation Society (NBARS), the centre hosts a wide variety of community programs, activities, and events throughout the year.
